The Brief

The Neighbourhood Festival in Manchester has been running for more than 7 years now. Recognising this milestone I was tasked to establish the festival as an important part of Manchester’s lively cultural, by creating a modern visual identity that can be used across a variety of media.​

I wanted the re-brand to solve some sort of problem for the brand, so noticing the significant lack of on-ground presence before and during the festival, I focused on finding a solution to the problem as the main focus of the rebrand.

Solution

I took the location of each venue on the map and created a cohesive line-based design that focuses on the movement and feeling of the city, while also helping with the navigation and connecting each venue without disturbing their branding.
