KAL Design Landscape Architecture was founded on a utilitarian philosophy: to create beautiful, safe and naturally bountiful environments for the benefit of as many people as possible. Our founders have had long careers in the public and private sectors working with clients large and small but bring that same guiding ethos to every drawn line or written word.
KAL Design is the summation of all this experience is here to serve YOU with pride, flair and professional probity.
Why? A meeting with Ian McHarg the famous Scottish environmental polymath fired a desire to shape the world in a careful but creative manner – to “Design with Nature.”

Our Services
We offer a range of services including covering all aspects of commercial and residential planning, architecture, building design and interiors. Architectural design is the essence of the practice and it’s at the core of what we do. We care passionately about design, but it isn’t just about how things look. It’s about the economics of construction, how they can be built and used safely, how buildings operate and how they are maintained. It’s also about running costs and how our building designs affect our environment.
